 BBN : Weekly Business News for Kids - I was lucky to meet Minister Mary White at a football match today. She was there for the whole game to remember the life of Toyosi, who died last month.
- As a guest of the Dragon's Den, I took part in the Entrepreneur Show in the RDS in April. I was amazed how Mr. Gavin Gavin Duffy insisted on paying for one of my books. Mr. Niall Farrell from 'Black Tie' had loads of time for me.
- Interview with John Murray on RTE 1 Business News was a serious one.
- The shocking news of Mr.Gerry Ryans sudden death made me sad and I wish his family super strength. He made me feel so important during our recent interview,
- On the 23 December 2009: I was delighted to receive a letter of encouragement from Mrs Anne Field, librarian of Archbishop Tutu. I also received a signed copy of Archbishop Tutu's book. I will treasure this book and the kind words from Mrs Field.
- 54 Schools in South Africa were given a copy of my book by the charity , ASSA.
- Billionaire, Paul Allen, co-founder of Micro-soft has been diagnosed with cancer. I wish him a full recovery.
- According to latest research , people are using less credit cards whilst on holidays. By spending cash they are spending what they can afford. Let us kids remind our parents to do this too. It means we don't come back from holidays to find more bills, bils, bills.
- Colleges in the U.S are offering more 'greener careers' eg wind technicians, solar cell designers, energy auditors. Kids should find out more about this because it will be great to do the right subjects at school before getting to college.
